In keeping with the analogy of a modular synth, felted patch cords are used to create signal paths between various tone generating and tone filtering modules comprised of both felt and hardware components. The interface is made out of merino wool felt, yarn, elastic and conductive thread, and snaps. The sounds being created in the following videos are done so by interacting with the soft variable resistor that is hooked up to a modified gated oscillator circuit.
