I will be playing again with Peter Kirn and Matt Ganucheau at Handmade Music, a night of homemade circuits, homebrewed software and handmade instruments. This is an open nerd gathering and noise making event, bring your own creations or just come for the live acts! Peter, Matt, Sarah and I had the pleasure of playing at the Fairytale Fashion show on Feb. 24th. We provided the soundtrack for the evening and now we are having a reunion in honor of handmade instruments. Official details here.

Next Thursday, 03/11 at 7pm I’ll be giving a little talk about the recent work I’ve been doing with my sister here at FSP to the Bay Area Computer Music Technology Group, hosted by GAFFTA. The theme for the night is Women Artist Technologists and there seem to be some really interesting ladies presenting whom I am looking forward to meeting.

Sup. After some talk and some gathering of materials, f(elted) s(ignal) p(rocessing) [dot] fm has come into being. This will be the project repository and online sketchbook of experiments involving electronics, textiles (frequently felt) with often sonic output born out of either individual projects or collaboration between myself and my sister Lara. Inquiries and comments about either the work or the site are welcome at studio [at] fsp [dot] fm. Thanks and see ya around #__#!
